Psychiatrist
Summary of Major Functions:
Provides individual therapy, case management, group therapy and treatment planning. Ensures implementation of the treatment plan, programming, plans for effective transition and discharge from treatment. Responsible for excellent documentation of all treatment processes.
Schedule will be weekdays including occasional early evening hours sharing call and psychiatric clinical duties. Previous experience treating eating disorders and addictions specialty preferred; other areas of expertise welcomed. Board certified or board eligible.

Primary Therapist
Primarily responsible for the direction of care of PHP patients as part of an interdisciplinary team, as well as providing outpatient therapy to your own caseload of OP patients. Position reports to the Clinical Director. Provides individual therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, ensures implementation of the treatment plan in a all aspects of programming and plans for a smooth transition and discharge from treatment. The required qualifiications for this position are licensure (or immediate license-eligibility) in Colorado, Master's degree or PhD in behavioral health field. Experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered and dual-diagnosis patients Strong leadership and communication skills are needed.

Milieu Therapist
Eating Disorder Center of Denver always accepts resumes for a on-call Milieu Therapists. Primary responsibilities include milieu management, education and group/meal therapy within our Partial Hospitalization Program and the Evening Intensive Outpatient Program. Previous experience treating eating disorders and/or residential treatment center experience is strongly preferred. Master's degree in behavioral health or related field required. Internships
Eating Disorder Center of Denver has filled our clinical internship positions for the entire year of 2010. Although we greatly appreciate interest in our center, we were simply overwhelmed by the number of applicants. Volunteers
Due to the specialty and sensitivity of the type of services we provide, Eating Disorder Center of Denver does not utilize volunteers in its clinical operations. While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of Eating Disorder Center of Denver. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
