Provides individual therapy, case management, group therapy and treatment planning. Ensures implementation of the treatment plan, programming, plans for effective transition and discharge from treatment. Responsible for excellent documentation of all treatment processes.
Schedule will be weekdays including occasional early evening hours sharing call and clinical duties with the Medical Director.
Previous experience treating eating disorders and addictions specialty preferred; other areas of expertise welcomed. Board certified or board eligible.

Nurse Practitioner

Director of Business Development
Supervisor: CEO
Summary of Major Functions:
Helps create and direct new business opportunities to establish Eating Disorder Center of Denver’s (EDC-D) competitiveness in the eating disorder treatment field. Ensure financial viability of clinical programs through development of new business opportunities and contracts that enhance patient referrals to EDC-D. Coordinates business development opportunities with the clinical leadership team of EDC-D.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Create and revise annual business development plan for EDC-D. Develop and manage budget to reflect business development plan.
2. Create new and/or increased business streams for current programs, as well as generate ideas for new business concepts.
3. Develop plans to introduce new clinical programs to the professional and lay communities.
4. Assist and make recommendations for long-range strategic planning. Analyze data for trends, market share and other relevant data. Monitor effectiveness of business development plans. Modify plans as needed based on analysis.
5. Develop plans in conjunction with clinical leadership to provide effective outreach to professionals and referrers locally and nationally.
6. Maintain and enhancing EDC-D reputation in behavioral health community as the provider of choice.
7. Conduct market and competitive analysis and provides recommendations to senior management for operational changes to keep EDC-D competitive.
8. Coordinate website and social networking sites to enhance the web effectiveness of EDC-D including pay-per-click and search engine optimization. Coordinate web marketing with external marketing professionals.
9. Work with managed care entities to enhance referral of patients to EDC-D.
10. Develop and coordinate public relations events and professional events.
11. Liaison for our external marketing resources.
12. Develop and maintain current and effective referrer/resource database.
13. Develop and enhance EDC-D branding.
14. Coordinates all business development activities with EDC-D staff.
15. Prepare periodic reporting to management and board to track effectiveness of business development activities.
Management Responsibilities:
1. Actively participate and attend Senior Management meetings.
2. Understand that management’s ultimate goals must be the profitability of, the clinical effectiveness of, and the overall success of EDC-D as a business. Proactively handle conflicts with other departments, performance issues with employees and any other managerial issues as needed or as directed.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in business, marketing, behavioral health or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for graduate degree. Undergraduate degree required.
2. Prefer experience in business development and/or behavioral health (minimum of 3-5 years experience).
3. Knowledge and experience in working with internet marketing tools and techniques.
4. Strongly prefer experience in the healthcare field, either clinically or administratively.
5. Qualified candidate will have clear conceptualization of the clinical treatment of eating disorders and how to create business initiatives that ethically provide such treatment.
6. Ability to successfully communicate with a variety of professional types including business professionals and healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, therapists, psychologists, etc.

Milieu Therapist
Eating Disorder Center of Denver is accepting resumes for full-time, part-time, and on-call milieu therapists. Primary responsibilities include milieu management, education and group/meal therapy within our Partial Hospitalization Program and the Evening Intensive Outpatient Program. Previous experience treating eating disorders and/or residential treatment center experience is strongly preferred. Master's degree in behavioral health or related field required. Internships
Eating Disorder Center of Denver has filled our clinical internship positions for the entire year of 2009. Volunteers
Due to the specialty and sensitivity of the type of services we provide, Eating Disorder Center of Denver does not utilize volunteers in its clinical operations. While we often have individuals who want to volunteer their time, the confidentiality of our patients and the quality of their care is our first priority. Patient care is provided by trained staff members of Eating Disorder Center of Denver. Occasionally, volunteers may assist with non-clinical operations as appropriate.
