EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

Admissions Assessment Clinician

The Eating Disorder Center of Denver is searching for an Admissions Assessment Clinician.   Primary responsibilities include responding to program inquires and presenting EDC-D information in a comprehensive and inviting manner and facilitating weekly admissions meetings providing up to date information about potential patients.  Maintain relationships with community providers and referral agents and interfaces with financial department to ensure admission and payment. Conducts utilization reviews in timely and effective manner. Must be able to effectively provide comprehensive clinical assessment resulting in recommendation for appropriate level of care.  Will need to demonstrate knowledge of and practice of clinical interviewing and counseling skills.  The required qualifications for this position are a Master’s degree in behavioral health with related experience preferred.  Equivalent training and experience may substitute for Master’s degree requirement if relative and recent.  Must be responsive to inquiries and effective at completing paperwork on a timely basis.  If you are interested in applying for this position, please forward your cover letter and resume to Jennifer Hasbrook, Manager of Human Resources and Administrative Services at JHasbrook@edcdenver.com.

 

Master’s level Therapists

The Eating Disorder Center of Denver is searching for fulltime, parttime and on-call Milieu Therapists.  Primary responsibilities include milieu management and education, group and meal therapy within our Partial Hospitalization Program. Primary Therapist 

 

The Eating Disorder Center of Denver is searching for a MA and/or PhD level clinician who is passionate and energetic about the treatment of eating disordered patients.  Primarily responsible for the direction of care of Partial Hospitalization Program patients as part of interdisciplinary team and reports to Tamara Pryor, PhD, Clinical Director.   Provides individual therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, ensures implementation of the treatment plan in all aspects of programming and plans for a smooth transition and discharge from treatment.   The required qualifications for this position are license eligible in Colorado, Master’s degree in behavioral health field; experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered clients; and dual diagnosis; and, strong leadership, oral and written communication skills. If you are interested in applying for this position, please respond to Dr. Tamara Pryor at tpryor@edcdenver.com.
